the wanted storylines.

Given the nature of the community in this game, it makes sense that a lot of characters will be related, married or close friends -possibly even enemies. This page has been created so that both potential and current players can post wanted characters and storylines, thus giving someone else the opportunity to fill them.

I have a couple of things!

I'd like to find someone to play a boss's wife/gf that my aerialist is having an affair with and maybe got pregnant! Think R&J.

The aerialists have a brother/sister and possible mother, but the father/cousins/aunts/uncles would also be amazing to have!

Also I need a bff (guy) for my horse caretaker/roust that knows about his marriage! Idk how I ended up with two hidden romances, DON'T ASK!

More minorly, I'd love to have some chars (rousts?) who helped to rescue my cat shifter from previous captivity.

	Hi! I'm playing the mother of the family. Her app is up in this journal if you want to take a glance at the history? I think they could've quite easily taken a lone aerialist under their wing. Looking For:

My Character: The Menagerie Man (PB: Brad Pitt)
Storyline: I'm looking for a long term girl friend with whom he has an arrangement of some sort. He's sort of an SOB but he'd take good care of whoever his girl was. People might even think they're married but they're actually not. He has no powers and has been with Birling Brothers since the beginning (10 years). His younger half siblings are held and it would be something of a family unit with him as the tough as nails patriarch. Children optional/possible.

My Character: The Fire Eater (PB: Maggie Gyllenhaal)
Storyline: Looking for a sibling possibly a sister who may or may not have powers. There could be a good sized age gap.

My Character: The Clown (PB: Iwan Rheon)
Storyline: More Clowns! IDK what the family relationship would be or not, I think he's sort of a serial loner BUT he wants his fellow clowns around. Right now his BFF is his dog. Possibly a mundane clown that he has a very fierce rivalry with because of his powers?

Hey there! I just read over your concept and it sounds great. I'm not planning on my char(her name is Ruby btw and I almost considered Hazel!) being born into the circus originally though. She is going to be about 28 too as I'm using some Maggie icons for a few years ago. My thought was she ended up joining a series of traveling carnivals after leaving home and her sibling joined her at some point most likely. But thank you!

	Yeah that would be great! I have some thoughts on her, etc, mainly that she left home fairly early.. maybe at around sixteen or seventeen because of her powers if that would be okay, but my thought she was still close to a sibling and could have brought them in with her. posting from a character journal :> this is sully, one of the illusionists, whose act i am in the process of working out. sully is probably the most integrated~ into the circus of my character holds and is the adopted son of virgil blackburn, the illusionist boss. i would really adore some strong male friends similarly aged to sully (he's 19) because, quite frankly, i think he gets into a lot of trouble and conversely needs fellow trouble-makers and people who have his back.

sully is also kind of a naive romantic whose own mother was a cooch performer, essentially, at another circus. he really romanticizes the cooch girls and probably dreams of rescuing~ one of them. i'm not sure what stage of his obsession he's in and i'm kind of tentative about asking for this line, because i want it to be more complicated than a ship and not necessarily a ship at all. but if anyone feels like hammering out the details -- the more disenfranchised the girl, the better. bonus points if she's exotic~

I'm working on an application for my Bally Girl, Opal Mae, and I was wondering if someone wants to have been the connection that got her into the circus? My plan is that she was working somewhere else under an alias and then joined the circus because it was more regular food and pay. It could be someone she knew from childhood/extended family (she's from the South, but I am open to where in the South), or just someone who convinced her to join!

Does anyone want to provide an enemy for my vet? He doesn't have a journal yet, but the basics are he's a good old southern boy by the name of Buford Youngblood (Beau works just fine!) who is in his late twenties. He's been with the circus for 7 or 8 years and after starting as a shill kind of fell into the vet position. In a nutshell, he's a charismatic guy with a jerky edge that could play well into him just really not liking someone. I'm totally up to discuss the exacts and can offer more details if you'd like!

	I don't know if he'd be an enemy so much as a regular antagonist, but my sideshow boss is a well known asshole and would definitely pick up on someone whose skin he could easily get under! Idk that he'd necessarily go out of his way to be mean to your vet but he could definitely be consistently foul. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Oh yay Kat, that was quick!!! While I don't really have a strong preference (whatever inspires you more!) a brother might be nice? I mean. It's Skarsgard, after all. XD The fact they don't look so much alike could always be chalked up to the fact that maaaybe Mummy got a little too friendly with someone else AND NEVER TOLD ANYONE. But then again, I'm fair and my sister's dark so it happens!

ALSO AS AN ASIDE they'll be related to Julie and Luis's brothers (cousins).

Kind of a specific request, but I (Shay) am working on my bally broad concept (this girl here!) and would love to see her husband in play. They got married when Irene was 16 and she picked locks for his gang; they got split up when the local police did a sting on the gang. Irene got away, but her husband was sent to prison, and would probably be getting out around this time or shortly before. It's not necessary that he's played or anything but it could be fun/interesting to have him show up. :> and details can be altered obvs!

An ex-wife and ex-stepkids for my sideshow boss, Duke! He's been with Birlings nearly since they started, and has been in the circus business for some 20 years total. I have that he married a widow with two kids of her own who worked for the circus, but they ultimately split; in his app it's because she's a mundane who doesn't like people with powers, but that can be changed easily. Mostly I'm looking for the kids, who Duke is still fond of, though it's up to you if they're still/were ever fond of him!

	If anybody'd like to be related to Wick here, I'd be all for it! His family is all circus folk. Names and ages of siblings are negotiable (even last names--everyone's half-siblings anyway.)
